 The Relaxation & Stress Reduction Workbook Review: I have used this workbook to teach my Stress Management class on several occastions.  This book is written in easy-to-understand language and provides hands-on, practical skills that a person can start using NOW.  I continually use the information to help people understand the basic physiological aspect of anxiety as well as the all-important breathing techniques to help a person calm their anxious feelings.
 
 
 
 
 
The Feeling Good Handbook Review: This book, although a little dated, is a great book to read if you want to understand depression and/or anxiety. It also gives you worksheets and instructions on how to begin changing your thoughts in order to change your feelings.  If you want to learn new coping skills, this is a good place to start!
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Feeling Good Together Review:  Dr. Burns offers some very good, practical advice on how to change the mechanics of your communication.  There are worksheets to help you look at YOUR piece of the communication puzzle.  I use the concepts in my work with couples.
